Hey folks,
If you're reading this, you're almost certainly got us on your watch list, which is good. This message is for you, not the random passer-by. Whether you've been with us since the beginning or just recently added us, we appreciate the support.
Next week we'll be releasing what will more than likely be the last three Cutting Room strips. Our archive is over 200 strips strong, and that feels pretty damn good. We had a good run with some stellar guest artists and some great readers.
As some of you know, my partner-in-crime is raising funds on kickstarter to produce a movie. If you've read a strip or two or two hundred, I hope you'll consider throwing some funds his way--even if it's only a dollar.
Keep in mind, this isn't charity. You're investing in independent art, and you'll be rewarded. Not only are you backing a movie that deserves to be made, there are rewards for the various levels of investment. For example, if you contribute twenty-five bucks, you get a special edition DVD when it's released.
As of the time of this posting, the film is about halfway funded--with twenty of the forty thousand dollars already pledged. There are only seven days left, and I'm getting nervous because I really want to see this movie get made.
